Day 01 - Hanoi - Ninh Binh: Tam Coc - Bich Dong - Thung Nham
Leave Hanoi for our journey to Ninh Binh, featuring a network of waterways coupled with spectacular limestone formations rising up from rice paddy fields. You first visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu – the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, admire the architecture of the two temples dedicated to the kings of Dinh and Le dynasty.
Continue to Thung Nham and visit Bich Dong pagoda. Then get on a small sampan to visit Thung Nham bird park, discover the most features of this area with more than 4000 birds of 40 species flying to inhabit every day. Your best chance to take nice photos.
You also explore Hang But (Buddhist Cave), about 500m in length, magical view of the stalactites and stalagmites, including a big Buddha-shaped stalactite sitting beside an underground river, as well as visit orchard of tropical fruits in this area.

Day 02 - Ninh Binh: Van Long Nature Reserve - Trang An
Continue to Van Long floating village (wetland) where you might opt for a bike ride; then, take a boat trip for 1 hours rowing along this beautiful wetland of Van Long Natural Reserve, enjoying spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks.
We will keep on our journey to Trang An, one of the key places which have been selected for important scenes of the blockbuster movie “Kong - Skull Island”. Trang An is normally referred to as a “Halong Bay on land” or an “outdoor geological museum” for its coverage of nearly 2,200 ha surrounded by limestone, hills, and river valleys. The only way to discover the place’s beauty is on a small bamboo boat.

Day 03 - Ninh Binh: Cuc Phuong National Park
Cuc Phuong national park is the first national park in Vietnam, established in July 1962. The flora is various with 1.944 species. Diverse fauna includes 71 species of mammals, 300 species of birds, 33 reptiles and 16 amphibians. Besides, there has many animals such as: bears, horses, boars, tigers, leopards, ferrets, squirrels, monkeys… The half natural breeding area has deer, yellow monkey, Delacour's langur and flying squirrel…
You will have a whole day to spend here hiking to discover this amazing site of nature with its diverse population of plantations and animals species.

Day 04 - Ninh Binh - Pu Luong
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then ready for your transfer to the West – Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Along the way, we will pass fields of tapioca, sugar cane and rice paddies.
Upon arrival at the lodge in the heart of Pu Luong, get settling in and get acquainted to the host then spend the rest of day free at leisure after a long transfer.

Day 05 - Pu Luong: Trekking to Canh Nang town
Enjoy breakfast and atmosphere before trekking toward Ma River. The trek is quite light because of descending a wide-open valley. After 2 hours, we will reach Pho Doan Town where we will visit to the local market. Following we trek Ma River, on the way we will see nice view of river, paddies and water wheel. We will be picked up and transferred back to your lodge for relaxation or you may wander around the site for further discovery.

Day 06 - Pu Luong - Ba Vi National Park
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then take chances to observe daily life activities of the local if you want. At good time, setting out for another ride back to Ba Vi National Park, which is centered on Mount Ba Vi - an isolated soil-limestone mountain situated about 65km west from Hanoi. There’s an orchid garden and a bird garden, and hiking opportunities through the forested slopes of the mountain. To Ba Vi National Park, we not only enjoy the fresh air of tropical forests and subtropical low mountain, but also enjoy many spectacular natural scenery of the Red River valley.

Day 07 - Ba Vi National Park
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then spend the balance of your day exploring the Ba Vi National Park under guidance of our local English guide. He will show you the diverse beauty of this place from different perspectives with variety of interesting stories.

Day 08 - Ba Vi - Transfer to Ba Be
After breakfast, we will transfer to Bac Kan province where Ba Be Lake is located. We will stop en-route to visit the Museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen, then continue to Ba Be.
In the afternoon, the new destination is a small village of the Tay minority people situated inside Ba Be National Park. Arrive at our home-stay and refresh with a short afternoon walk around the park and even a swim in the nearby lake. The rest of day is coming back home for chatting with hosts to learn their culture and daily life.

Day 09 - Ba Be National Park
You will have the chance to explore the diverse and beautiful landscapes of Ba Be as you trek through the national park. To begin with, your local guide will take you to visit Coc Toc Village where the Tay people make a living through fishing in the lake. You will cross Pelu Stream and navigate some steep terrain, but as you gain height you will begin to see the beautiful views of the mountains. As you journey further towards the uplands, you will stop in a H'mong ethnic village. Your guide will then take you through the vast mountain ranges and valleys to see the stilt houses and school of the Dzao people and along the trail to visit another H'mong ethnic village. You will then return to your homestay in the afternoon for relaxation.

Day 10 - Ba Be - Return to the charming Hanoi
After breakfast, you have some time for leisure and then pack up your items to back Hanoi by 9:00 am. On the way, you have opportunity to visit Kermis, a typical local market. Have lunch at a local restaurant. We arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon and then it’s time to say goodbye to your local buddy who has accompanied you through this journey.
