We are all safe and sound after a wonderful experience visiting Vietnam and Cambodia. I would like to compliment you and your company on a well organised and problem free tour. Everything worked to plan as scheduled and we were treated as "royalty" by all the guides and drivers that chaperoned us.
We cant think of anything that needs improvement, the hotels were good, the guides and drivers were punctual and informative and the itinerary was perfect - a pleasurable 23 days.
Please could you pass this on - firstly to the Guides - Ving, Hai, Mui and Temly. They were all unique in their own ways which gave us a very good perceptive of the various areas we visited. Secondly to you boss as I do think you and all who contributed to the tour need to receive the necessary praise.

Colm and I thoroughly enjoyed it everything was great . guides were super , we thought Thau was lovely and knew the answers to all of colms questions!!! All in all a great holiday. Only one room we did not like in the Lavender was small no window and very smelly, but hotel was ok. Thats for your future reference!

I just wanted to thank you for an amazing holiday in Vietnam. Other than a couple of mishaps with wrong times meeting us at airports, the trip was fabulous and a couple of my work colleagues intend contacting you, on my recommendation.
The highlights of our trip were our day on the Meekong Delta and the absolutely fabulous lunch provided, the day at the Chi Chi tunnels and of course the Red Bridge cooking class.

now we are back in Germany and we want to thank you for the organisation of the magnificant tour. We really like the program and you had good guides, specially your tour guide Koa (Mekong Delta) was so friendly. We were booked for pick uprvice from Hanoi airport to our hotel in old quater, We also book for Halong cruise tour for 2 days stay 1 night on cruise. and Airport drop off. We really pleased with Asia Essence Tours' service. Always prompt reply for any our query. Transportation was really good and very entertained tour guide. Vietnam is an fascinating and beautiful country, the people are universally friendly and warm, and due in no small part to your efforts we were able to sample a great variety of its culture.
Each one of the eleven tour guides were top notch; the ten different hotels and each had their own identity and charm, and the drivers and their vehicles were excellent and we were always relaxed and safe in sublime comfort.
I travel extensively on business and always arrange my own travel and accommodation; this is the first time on a vacation that my wife and I have used an agent such as yourself to make the arrangements and I must say it has resulted in one of our best trips ever. Vietnam itself has lot to do with the pleasure of it all but in addition, being met at each airport, chauffeured in comfort, and guided at a tempo that suited us perfectly, has meant no distraction and complete freedom to relax and enjoy ourselves without thinking once about the clock or the calendar until the end of the trip when we were sad to leave.

Grand Indochina Holiday 22 days (6 Feb – 27 Feb 2016)
Dear Ms. Nguyen Hue,

We are now back at home after the great trip, still digesting the experience we had and downloading thousands of photos from our cameras. 
We want to thank you very much for your very valuable help in planning the trip, in the guidance and ideas you had to improve and optimize our itinerary. 
We also want to thank you for your assistance during our trip, starting from the cellphone with pre-programmed numbers of all of our guides, the attention to any detail of the trip, the help you provided when we had difficulties during our trip (changing our guide in Sapa after the first day, quick modification of our plans in Hoi An, when weather did not allow the visit to Bana Hill and we changed to a cooking class instead and the addition of Buddha Park to our itinerary in Vientiane due to early arrival and late departure). 
Hotels:
The service was perfect. The hotels were good to very good. 
The hotel in Sapa was exceptional: they kept our suitcases for the days we were on track between the villages, gave us a temporary room to take a shower and change before getting back to the night train to Hanoi and also prepared for us boxed meal for the train. I do not know if this was pre-paid by your company or it was included in their service - we highly appreciate it anyway. 
You wrote that you had no past experience with Mulberry Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap and we must say it was an excellent hotel: the room was very nice, friendly and warm staff and great location, 5 minutes from the night market and 10 minutes’ walk from the old market. We enjoyed it very much. 
All the hotels provided in our trip were fine for our needs and expectations. 
Guides:
Most of the guides were excellent, friendly and with lot of knowledge about the history, nature, culture, etc. and could answer our vast number of question and our great need to learn and know about the people’s life. 
Our guide in Hanoi, Mr. Kuah was very good; he actually got to understand our set of mind and provided us with a lot of information. 
The first guide in Sapa, who did not meet our expectations was substituted (after we contacted you) immediately by Mr. Zoom, who was the perfect guide for the north, who told us a lot about life of the minorities in north Vietnam and took us to visit primary school and high school in the village as well. 
Our guides in Hue, Hoi An, Siem Reap and Vientiane were very good to excellent. 
Our guide in the Mekong Delta and Saigon, Mr. Lam was exceptional. He is a very knowledgeable person with a lot of experience. He really understood our set of mind and beyond all expectations invited us to the Tet dinner at his uncle's home. This was an outstanding experience which we will always remember. 
Mentioning Mekong Delta - we somehow missed the activity of the floating market in Can Tho, although arrived there quite early in the morning. We heard from other travelers that the market was very active at 6 am, but after 7am - there were only 3-4 boats selling watermelons. 
In Luang Parabang we had two guides: the guide that picked us up from the airport, with whom we had language communication problems could not be with us on the following day and was replaced by Ms. Tuli, a great guide, who spoke very good English and understood our requests and way of thinking. On the way to Pac Ou caves we stopped at a small village that was making dried river weed sheets with garlic and tomatoes. We were the only tourists there, with no souvenir shops and no tourist traps. We toured the village and visited the school; we also brought toothbrushes and tooth paste tubes and distributed them as presents to the children of the kindergarten, with the agreement of their teachers.
We asked to have Tuli for our second day as well but the local agency refused, saying she was a freelance and not the company employee and therefore they cannot let her continue with us for another day. We believe it was a matter of budget. Anyway the second day at Luang Parabang, with the water falls was very nice, although communication with the guide was difficult. It is interesting to point out the difference in the behavior of the driver in these two days: First day with Tuli – the driver was around the car, available at any moment he was needed. On the second day – we had to wait for him by the car, since he was not available and seemed to do what he wanted ant obey the guide, who managed the day.
Buddha Park in Vientiane:
This is an amazing place, of which I learned from the internet just before arriving Vientiane. This park is in a “must visit” and should be included in itineraries because of its uniqueness.
To summarize: it was a great trip and we thank you once again for your advice, guidance and services. You might include this letter or at least part of it (the paragraphs highlited in yellow) in the testimonials on your webpage. We will recommend our friends, who intend to travel to Indochina to contact you.
