Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City

Arriving in Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be welcomed by Asia Essence Tours expert and transferred to hotel to check in. The rest of day is your own. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour and Cu Chi Tunnel (B, L)

Having breakfast at the hotel

Then, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel, start your day tour of Ho Chi Minh highlights. The 1st destination is the Reunification Palace - formerly known as the museum of American War Crimes that was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975. You also visit some of the best samples of French colonial architecture which are the Notre Dame Cathedral church and the Saigon Central Post Office. Next to the cathedral stands the Central Post Office that is the country’s largest post office was built in 1891. It is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam's largest post office. Having a special lunch at a popular local eatery.

After lunch, travel to Cu Chi, 70 km to the Northwest of Ho Chi Minh. Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S - Vietnam War. Return to Ho Chi Minh in the late afternoon. Then, you will be heading to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 3: Nha Trang (B)

This day is your own leisure in Nha Trang & relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 4: Nha Trang Island and snorkeling trip (B, L)

After breakfast, we will start the trip of day from your hotel to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit. Mun Island is the best one for snorkeling where you can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. Even you can see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest. After that is your time for relaxing, swimming & doing water sports or other activities at Mot Island, Tranh Beach Island or on a small island calling “Mini beach”. Having a fresh lunch on the island. On the way back, you will take chance to visit a fishing village before going to the shore.

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 5: Nha Trang – Dannang - Hoian (B)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then check out for the flight to Danang. Upon arrival Danang airport, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel in Hoian. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 6: Hoi an (B)

This day is a full free day for you relaxing on the beach or optional to visit Hoian Old Quarter, My Son Sanctuary or Cham Island. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 7: Hoian – Danang - Hanoi (B)

After breakfast, you will be transfered to Danang airport  for your departure flight to Hanoi.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B,L,D)

We will depart Hanoi to Ha Long Bay by road through the fertile farmlands of the Red River Delta. Arrive in Ha Long city, embark our traditional wooden junk boat for an overnight journey. Take a few sips of a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you start your cruise throughout the bay. Feast on a scrumptious lunch while you sail among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to find out unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit one of the most distinguished grottos of the bay - Sung Sot cave ( Surprising cave ). Take your time swimming or you can have a short trek to the top of Mountain for breathtaking panorama scenery. Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board. Overnight on Ha Long Bay aboard Junk.

For those who book kayaking option: After you visit Surprising cave, kayak is ready for you, you can row to enjoy the tranquil flow of the bay.

Day 9: Halong Bay Cruise - Hanoi (B, L)

Wake up early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore the nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for lunch then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Halong City, where your driver will meet you at the dock and take you back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 10: Hanoi Departure (B)

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel and you are free in your own until transferred to Noi Bai International airport for departure.
