Da Nang
Danang is a major port city in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, separated from Laos by the western Truong Son Mountains. Danang marks the halfway point between Hanoi and Saigon and was the first place to organize its own local communist party committee. It is the commercial and educational center of Central Vietnam, its well-sheltered, easily accessible port, located within 100 km of Hue. Danang is listed as a first class city and has a higher
urbanization ratio than any of Vietnam's other provinces. Danang has an international airport and receives several international flights daily.


Danang has a tropical monsoon climate with two seasons: A lengthy wet season lasting from May through January and a short dry season lasting from February through April.
Temperatures are typically high, with an annual average of 26°C.
In June, July, August, the lowest is 18-23°C in December, January and February.
